The Digital Transformation Sprint is a hands-on immersion where you’ll learn how to lead digital transformation for your organization. Clearly, digital transformation is no longer an option, but an imperative. In fact, recent research from Accenture has found that in the three years prior to 2018, firms who led their industry in enterprise technology adoption grew two times faster than laggards. Today, they are growing five times faster. The risk is no longer merely getting left behind, but being eliminated altogether.

Who Is This For?

This Sprint is particularly designed for a broad range of leaders, professionals and teams who are tasked with driving change in technology and are seeking rapid and successful integration such as heads of lines of business, talent managers, consultants, technology leaders, trainers, leaders in government and higher education, and IT strategists to name a few.

Most leaders and teams lack a comprehensive shared process that can facilitate inclusion, integration, and buy-in when tasked with digital transformation projects.

This Sprint will offer a framework that will help you design your process and address critical components that are necessary for successful transformation.

In this Sprint we will discover four key principles

    1. Digital transformation is not the same as innovation.
    2. Digital transformation needs to start with business objectives, not technology’s bright shiny object 
    3. You need to enlist the enthusiasts and start with a keystone change. 
    4. We have to leverage digital transformation to reimagine the enterprise.

That will lead us to learning and practicing 

  • How to lead digital transformation in your organization
  • How to align and prioritize business objectives with technology initiatives.
  • How to gain early traction for a keystone project and build support over time.
  • How to apply the power of digital transformation to bring your enterprise to a greater level of competitive advantage (future-looking technology), protect and secure data (cybersecurity), and apply innovative platforms to significantly multiply your organization’s impact (omnichannel, VR/AR enabled).

In this Sprint we ask fundamentally different questions. It is through exploring these new possibilities that we can solve complex problems and make more meaningful impacts for customers, employees, and the communities we serve.

This Sprint is based on principles outlined in the Harvard Business Review article written by Andrea Kates, Greg Satell and Todd McLees that outlines the foundation of our approach. 

Case-Study

The Finance Group of a retail company that had recently grown through an IPO needed to shift from being a reporting function to being tech-enabled strategists. Working through the Digital Transformation principles, they brought together a plan that equipped people with elevated capabilities in data visualization and machine learning. Their Keystone Project led to a new seat at the table for the Finance Group as growth partners inside their organization and thought leaders in their industry.

Location: Large space with room for multiple hands-on sessions.
